Undercastle Cottage was also featured in the much-loved BBC series Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
In Series 1, Episode 6, Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse stayed at Undercastle Cottage while fishing on the Hampshire Avon. The cottage provided their accommodation during the episode, with scenes filmed inside the property and around its riverside grounds.
It was a wonderful match for the programme’s gentle celebration of friendship, fishing, nature and quiet time by the water.
