"We have stayed here before and it's definitely our happy place! It is so tranquil and like a fairytale cottage. This is our second stay at this property. It truly is unique in its location. There is no one else around and it's so peaceful. We saw stags, deer, a kingfisher on the river, wild ponies and donkeys in the village. The local pub is only a 20 minute walk away and serves amazing food. The cottage is really cosy and I slept so well in the bed (I struggle with my sleep at home). We are coming back in the summer and again in November to experience all the seasons!"

It was extremely cold weather, but the cottage was so cosy and warm, and the fire was very welcome! The homemade scones (and, indeed, the welcome hamper) were gratefully received. "Wowsers, that was lovely, thank you! Massive fan of the setting and wildlife – just so peaceful. And lots of thoughtful little touches. The thing I liked best is that you don’t have to drive anywhere, sort anything, etc., which really helps with zoning out. Just annoyed we didn’t finish our jigsaw puzzle!"

"It truly is an exceptional property location. I felt like I was staying in a ladybird book fairytale cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful with lovely little homely touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It truly is an exceptional location; you really feel completely away from it all. Even though we stayed in winter, I wrapped up warm and spent hours sitting outside watching the birds and wildlife. The cottage itself is so cosy and has lovely, homely touches. The pub nearby is fabulous, wonderful food and friendly staff. We didn't want to come home."
